Ik heet Henny Blaas, ben geboren in Bussum in 1947.
Mijn hele leven ben ik al enthousiast aan het tekenen en schilderen.
De tekenleraar op mijn toenmalige MULO was de man die mij met zijn ondersteuning, aanwijzingen en enthousiasme echt verder gebracht heeft.
Vanaf toen heeft het mij niet meer losgelaten.
Ik ben dus autodidact, maar ik volg wel regelmatig schilder- en tekencursussen bij verschillende kunstenaars.
Mij vind je nog regelmatig achter de schildersezel.
Ook ben ik niet echt gespecialiseerd in bepaalde onderwerpen maar eerder breed georiënteerd.
Kijk maar naar de verschillende onderwerpen op mijn site, van portretten tot bomen en van Hollandse luchten tot deuren.
Ik maak kleurrijk werk.
Het liefst in olieverf, maar werk ook met acryl en pastel- en oliepastelkrijt.
